Murcia (1982 – 1994)

In 1982 I moved to live in Murcia. These years have been very happy for me. I got there “crying” for not knowing where I was going, and I left there crying for having to leave a world that I fell in love with.

My transfer to Murcia began with my military service. So it was mandatory at that time.

I had a great time, I made a lot of friends and drove Tanks!

And I kept my love of playing basketball. We had some major successes.

In Murcia I finished my studies at University; I got the degree in Ancient History and Archaeology

Professionally, I dedicated myself to being a secondary school teacher. Later, I was commissioned to be Head of Esdudios, and finally I was a member of the school’s management team.

My passion for the mountains found a paradise: Sierra de Cazorla. If you ever look for me, and you don’t know where I am, go there because you will surely find me.

In 1992 I was lucky enough to be able to meet with Pope Saint John Paul II. It was an interview of a few minutes, but it has remained etched in my heart.
