Teen (1973 – 1982)

My passions were four: basketball, excursions, music and judo.

As for any teenager, those years were full of dreams. I liked adventures: I dreamed of them … I read all the Enid Blyton books: the Secret Five and Seven series, and the Adventure series.

At the Alfabia Club I combined my leisure time with time for human training.
I was a regular player for the “Patronato Obrero San José” team, in Palma de Mallorca (1975 and 1976).
My first platonic love … Doris Day!
Excursions were definitely my favorite passion. I can say that I have been throughout the whoñe Majorcan mountains!
And I started to play the guitar, with the song from America: “A horse without a name”

In September 1977, when I was 16 years old, I moved to live in Valencia. It’s difficult to explain why… There I was living for two years in Albalat, a university residence, studying the last years of Baccalaureate. Without any doubt I was the youngest of the 160 residents who lived there. Being independent at such a young age is a unique experience.

The choice of the university career was difficult. I first started studying Engineering, but then I switched to the Faculty of Geography and History.

For three years I was at the Collvert Youth Club, as a volunteer, promoting free time activities for young people.
